Meet the Female Mavericks Founders
We are Beth Mazza and Victoria Sivrais, two girls from the Midwest who were co-workers then co-founders, and now, best friends for life. We are among the 98% of women who relied on friends and family investment when we could not secure venture capital to launch. Together, we built and monetized two different businesses, one for one-times revenue and the other for five-times revenue.
We have nine kids between us and took our turns at carpools, as room moms and as obnoxious sideline cheerers at kids’ sports games. But here’s the plot twist—we’re also entrepreneurs. We chased not just one big dream, but two—and they both paid off–enough to retire.
Why Us?
Because we know this story. It is our story. We were among the three-plus million crazy, ambitious, frenzied women who launched their own business in the U.S. in the last decade. Women like us—moms first, entrepreneurs second (or vice versa, depending on the day)—aren’t the unicorns mainstream media makes us out to be.
