Victoria Sivrais
Victoria Sivrais co-founded Clermont Partners, a 100% women-owned investor relations and strategic communications firm, and sold it to Riveron, a global consulting firm, at an industry-leading multiple for the professional services sector. She is an entrepreneur, author, and keynote speaker with more than two decades of experience in capital markets and investor relations.
Victoria is also the co-author of Entrepreneur Like a MOTHER: Build a Company That Buys You Freedom, Not Owns Your Life, written with Beth Mazza and published by Wiley on September 22, 2026. Drawn from two exits and twenty years of decisions, the book argues that most founder-owned services businesses cannot be sold, because they cannot run without the founder, and that fixing this is structural work that takes years.
With Beth Mazza, Victoria also co-founded Female Mavericks, a content platform for women building and scaling million-dollar businesses.
Victoria started her career as a computer programmer, then moved into investor relations at Ashton Partners. After FTI Consulting acquired Ashton, she served as Managing Director and Deputy Lead of FTI’s Capital Markets practice. She left to found Clermont Partners, brought Beth in as her partner a year later, and led the firm from formation through its sale to Riveron. She has spent most of her career advising public-company executives and boards on investor relations, M&A, activism, and crisis communications, often in the middle of the transactions that decide what a company becomes next. Her approach at Clermont was to build a business that runs on systems rather than on its founder, then sell it to a buyer who can see the difference.
Victoria served as Chairman of the National Investor Relations Institute (NIRI), the professional association for the investor relations field, after years on its national board, and chaired NIRI’s 2018 Annual Conference. She also chaired the NIRI-Chicago chapter board. She was named to PRWeek’s 40 Under 40 in 2018 for her work in crisis and M&A communications, and to the NACD Directorship 100. She has been published and quoted on shareholder activism, investor engagement, crisis communications, passive investing, and ESG investing in The Wall Street Journal, IR Magazine, and IR Update among other publications.
Victoria Sivrais speaks on female entrepreneurship, building a business that can survive without its founder, and works with incubator programs to help younger women build their first business. She holds a B.S. in computer science from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business. She has five amazing children, including twins, and lives outside Chicago.
